Đất Thép City Trail 2027: Town-to-Forest Trail in Củ Chi
A new trail race in the Củ Chi Tunnels area is up on iRace: 24 January 2027, 7K to 42K, theme Run with the Heroes. Prices and course still to come.

Đất Thép City Trail 2027 has just appeared on iRace: an urban-to-forest trail race in the Củ Chi Tunnels area of Ho Chi Minh City, scheduled for the morning of 24 January 2027 with four distances, 7K, 10K, 21K and 42K. The organiser is Vietnam MTB Series, the team behind Dalat Ultra Trail. The theme stays "Run with the Heroes", continuing the earlier Cu Chi City Trail editions.
The course is billed as a true town-to-forest run: village roads and tropical dipterocarp forest around the historic site, resin in the air, dry leaves underfoot, about 30 km from central Saigon. Prices, course maps, shirts and prizes are still being updated and registration is not open yet on iRace. Save it and check back in a few days.
